Born in Sydney NSW, Aaron Lai is a 36-year old pro boxer in the light heavyweight division. He debuted in 2011 and currently holds a 12-5 record, with 11 wins via KO. In his 9 years of professional boxing career, Aaron was able to win 2 championships: the Australian and OPBF Light Heavyweight titles.

Aaron, who sports an orthodox stance, won both belts against Kerry Foley in February 2017 via TKO. He also successfully defended the OPBF Light Heavyweight championship twice, first against Panya Chomphoophuang in March 2018 and second against Shintaro Matsumoto in September of the same year.

In September 2019, however, he lost the OPBF title to Reagan Dessaix via 4th round TKO in a championship fight held at the Paddo Rugby League Club, Paddington.
