Liam ‘The Prodigy’ Paro is an Australian pro boxer from MacKay, Queensland. The 24-year old southpaw made his professional debut in March 2016 in the super lightweight division against fellow Australian Jacob Mahony. ‘The Prodigy’ is unbeaten in 19 professional fights, winning via way of knock out on 12 occasions and has made his mark as one of Australia’s top boxers in the super lightweight division.

Liam first picked up the gloves at the age of 13 when a friend and neighbour, Tysinn Best, took him along to boxing training in the football off season and since then he never looked back. Liam had an impressive amateur career with 64 fights, 56 wins, and only 8 loses, 6 Queensland titles, 5 Australian titles as well as representing Australia overseas including at the world junior championships in Bulgaria.

Since turning pro, ‘The Prodigy’ has collected a good number of titles, including the WBO Youth Super Lightweight title, the IBF International Super Lightweight title and the WBO Global Super Lightweight title. Liam is now aiming to become a world champion.
