Known as the “Herminator”, Herman Purcell is a 25-year old heavyweight boxer from Toowoomba, QLD with Samoan descent. Herman’s pro career is a great example of what hard work and perseverance can do in boxing. From his debut in 2013 until November 2018, Herman had 3 championship matches and all of them ended with an L. In his 24 professional matches, he also had 8 disappointing losses.
But these did not hamper his dream of becoming a pro boxing champion. He worked harder and persevered even more until finally, in July 2019, he became Australian National Boxing Federation Australasian Heavyweight Champion when he defeated Willie Nasio via majority decision. In March 2020, Herman is looking to continue his fresh success in the ring with another win on his upcoming match with James Singh.
