Jason “The Smooth One” Moloney (born January 10, 1991) was a successful amateur boxer. He competed in the 2010 Commonwealth Games at the age of 19 and turned professional in August 2014 at the age of 23 in the bantamweight division.
In February 2018, Jason and his twin brother Andrew Moloney simultaneously conquered the Commonwealth championship. They are the first-ever Australian brothers to achieve such a feat.
At present, Moloney owns the WBA Oceania Bantamweight Championship and an excellent win-loss record. Jason’s dangerous and active fighting style poses a threat to any boxer within his current division. Being one of the top 10 boxers in the WBA rankings is a clear indication that Moloney is all business in displaying impressive and outstanding fights to future opponents.
