Jeff ‘The Hornet’ Horn, (born February 4, 1988 at Brisbane, Queensland) is a professional boxer who held the WBO welterweight title from 2017 to 2018. Also known as “The fighting teacher”, a bullying experience inspired him to learn self-defense with Glenn Rushton and decided to enter the sport of boxing at the age of 18.

As an amateur boxer, Horn bagged a Queensland title, three national belts, the Oceanic title, and reached the quarterfinals at the 2012 London Olympics. Horn made his professional debut in Melbourne on 1 March 2013 and won via second-round technical knockout. The most controversial fight he had was the WBO World Welterweight Title bout where he defeated Manny Pacquiao in a unanimous decision. It was the biggest fight in the history of Australian boxing, held at Suncorp Stadium on July 2, 2017, in front of a massive 51,000+ audience.

After suffering a loss to Terence Crawford in 2018, he moved up to the middleweight division and knocked out Anthony Mundine for only 96 seconds. In December 2019, Horn won the WBO and WBA regional titles in a rematch with Michael Zerafa via majority decision.
