Driven by his bad childhood experience, Kye Mackenzie pushed himself to succeed in life and rise to the top ranks of lightweight boxing worldwide. He managed to win 21 out of 23 matches and become a champion 6 times in his 7 years as a pro.
Kye, also known as “Mr. Frenzy”, grew up in Tamworth, NSW and became New South Wales State Super Featherweight champion in 2013 just 4 matches into his pro career. He also bagged the Australian Super Featherweight title during the same year and the PABA Super Featherweight title in 2014.
After that, Kye climbed to the lightweight division and became the interim WBA Oceania and WBO Asia Pacific champion. Kye Mackenzie currently ranks the #2 lightweight boxer in WBO rankings.
