Les ‘Lock N Load’ Sherrington (born June 20, 1982) is an Australian pro boxer from Townsville, Queensland. Being from North Queensland Sherrington grew up playing rugby league, however, at the age of 16, he stepped into a boxing gym and fell in love with the sport. Sherrington had his first amateur fight when he was 18 years old and went on to win 17 fights and only one loss, winning the Queensland and Australian titles in both of his amateur years.

At the age of 19, the orthodox boxer decided to move to the Gold Coast to turn professional and made his debut on April 27, 2002. Unfortunately, Sherrington lost his first professional fight by technical knockout to Arama Tabuai. After seven fights, four wins and three losses, he decided to move back to Townsville and give up boxing.

After a relatively short break, ‘Lock N Load’ knew that he had more to offer the sport of boxing and decided to move back to the Gold Coast. Sherrington teamed up with a new trainer and had seven fights with six wins with a Queensland and Australian title in those wins. The professional boxer then changed trainer again and had 19 fights, 17 wins and defended the Australian title three times, winning the World Boxing Federation Intercontinental title, PABA title four times and also the World Boxing Federation world title three times.

The super middleweight boxer currently holds a 38-15-0 record.
