At a young age, Michael “Pretty Boy” Zerafa has already displayed a natural-born athletic capability. His passion for boxing was so strong that he turned his back on a promising AFL career. At the age of 12, Zerafa started to train and went to have over 100 amateur fights.

Zerafa faced off with Damian Hooper during the 2010 Commonwealth Games and conquered the Amateur Golden Gloves a year later in Queensland. He then turned professional at the age of 18 and held a couple of belts, including the IBF Pan Pacific Welterweight Title and Commonwealth Super Welterweight Title.

His biggest match was against Jeff Horn on August 31, 2019, where he won the WBO Oriental and WBA Oceania Middleweight Titles. Despite losing at their rematch last December 2019, Michael is still looking forward to dominating and displaying his might in the Middleweight Division.
