Qamil “Golden Boy” Balla is a 31-year old Australian boxer from Altona North, Victoria who fights in the super lightweight division and holds a 13-1-1 record. He held the state, national, and WBA Oceania titles during his 7-year pro boxing career and is currently in an indefinite hiatus.

Although his pro debut match in May 2012 resulted only with a draw, Golden Boy has been successful until his last fight so far in May 2019. He won his first belt, the Victoria State title, in July 2013 against the Thailander Nawakon Kitee via unanimous decision. Qamil won the Australian title next in September 2013 when he beat Jack Brubaker, again with a unanimous decision. He also successfully defended the national title in June 2014 against Terry Tzouramanis.

Qamil became the interim WBA Oceania Lightweight Champion after a dominant win over Rodolfo Puente in March 2017. He beat the Colombian boxer with a first-round TKO after him knocking down twice. Qamil won his fourth professional title, the WBA Oceania Super Lightweight championship, in May 2019 against Hero Tito with another TKO-victory.
